The clubhouse is perfect for corporate events, holiday parties, weddings, friend and family get-togethers.
Cost of the rental is $115 for most events and $300 for weddings. Price includes a full kitchen w/ stove, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, Ladies/Men room, banquet tables and chairs. The bar can be reserved for your event as well, if desired. Dates are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Contact Renda Smith at 515-971-6998 for availability. The Mt. Ayr Golf Course, a semi-private club, first opened in 1945. The 9-hole "Mt Ayr" course at the Mount Ayr Country Club facility in Mount Ayr, Iowa features 2,975 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35 . The course rating is 33.8 and it has a slope rating of 112. The club is governed by a 7 member board who serve three year terms. Currently the Club offers family, single, and student golfing memberships as well as a social membership.
The course is challenging enough for the experienced golfer, yet is also designed to give the novice golfer a chance to develop their game. Mature trees line most fairways and water comes into play on several holes. We have a paved cart path around the entire course and the fairways are watered. Tee times are not required.
